Just an update

Yes, yes. I've been pretty lazy when it comes to updating this.

So...

Isabella now has 7 teeth. We call her chompers. She is really getting around lately. She is like lightning. One blink and she's across the room. We've had to start using a baby gate to keep her in the living room. She's standing up a LOT lately. She really wants to walk. She loves to walk from daddy to mommy and back again, with us holding her hands to keep her upright. She would do that all day if we'd let her.

She also loves it outside. Yesterday's 80degree weather prompted us to spend the afternoon in the back yard. She had such a blast (even if she never once got to touch the ground herself - too dirty).

We ate dinner at the picnic table, and she was so good and not her usual squirmy self. She just looked around at the bushes and trees, and watched the dogs chase each other, and she laughed and cooed, and every now and then she'd make a grab for our plates. She just doesn't agree that she's a leeeetle too young for steak. :)

After we ate, we took her on the trampoline. I bounced her SO HIGH she almost fell off.

JOKING!!!

But we really did take her on the trampoline and let her crawl around. She thought it was cool, and had fun rolling around. I did pick her up at one point and bounce a little bit, but it was so little that my feet stayed planted the whole time. She liked that.

Being outside put her in such a good mood yesterday. She was being very lovable. She kept covering me and adam in hugs and kisses (and believe me - hugs and kisses are hard to come by! she is SO independent usually).

So, yeah. Yesterday was a fun day, and it sucks that we can't do it all again today, because it's only 53degrees outside. Boo.

-------------------------------------------

My family is starting to get on my nerves. Isabella's started having temper tantrums, and my mom and grandma keep telling me that we're spoiling her by picking her up every time she cries.

And while they're right that we DO pick her up when she's upset, I do NOT think that's spoiling her. And I do NOT think that's the cause of the tantrums. She's a very determined and stubborn baby, and she has been since the day she was born.

Besides. She's 8 months old. She isn't quite old enough to understand how to be a brat. I'm not going to worry about it just yet.
