byfirstlight's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unbelievable My monkey was 7 months old on Monday. This is disturbing. She was my teeny tiny little baby monkey just yesterday, it seems. And now she has teeth. And she creeps. And she's almost crawling. She gets more mobile every day. She gets smarter every day. Her attention span is amazing. Her eye-hand coordination even more so. This is scary. I'm not ready for her to get big. She needs to stay my little monkey forever, darn it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On the other hand, I'm SO looking forward to pigtails and the sounds of "mama" and "dada", and seeing her doing that jerky little trot that babies do when they first learn how to run. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But still.
