My Baby is 6 months old today!
My darling angel will be 6 months old in 17 more minutes. I can't believe that much time has passed already! It certainly doesn't feel like she should be 6 months old yet. She's a newborn, darn it!
After I get out of work tonight, I am going to the store to buy some sort of treat that I can make using formula. And we will present it to her like a cake, and we'll let her destroy it, just like other babies do to their cakes on their first birthdays.
Any suggestions? She obviously can't eat real cake, and I don't particularly want her eating pudding (even if it is made with formula), but I do want her to make a mess of something festive.
Maybe I'll just take a jar of bananas, and pour them into a bowl big enough to fit her fist in. Yes, that sounds fine. That's what I'll do.

And, I'm taking her at 5:30 to get her 6 month pictures taken! Walmart has a huge portrait special right now. A billion and one pictures for $3.88. How could we pass it up? I bought her a cute little pink and white dress (frilly and girly, of course), and I'm hoping and praying that she won't be cranky when we get there, like she has been every other time.
