byfirstlight's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Grandma B is the Old Navy Fairy I took Isabella over to Adam's parents' this evening for a few hours. We desperately needed some time for just the two of us, because we really haven't had any of that lately. I guess she had a good time. She was in a good mood when I left, and sleeping like a baby (well, what else would she sleep like?!) when I returned. She didn't even stir when I put her into her snowsuit or when I put her to bed at home. She was also wearing a new outfit. A cute yellow hooded fleece sleeper. It's sooo soft. I wish I had one. I would probably sleep like a baby, too. Anyway, Adam's mom has become the Old Navy clothing fairy. Every single time we let her babysit Isabella, whether it be for a couple hours or overnight, she comes home with a brand new outfit. Do I mind? Of course not. But if she thinks it's going to get her more babysitting time, it's not. haha. That sounds mean. It isn't. I'm sleepy and lame. Can you tell? Anyway. Isabella has a favorite cartoon! Dara the Explorer. She loves it, and she sits in her exersaucer and intently watches the entire show. She also yells and screams happily at Dara throughout. It's adorable. She also likes the show Skinnamarink. It's a Canadian show for little kids. It annoys the crap out of me, but she loves it and it lets me nap on livingroom floor from 6:15-6:45 every morning. And she's picky about some shows as well. She loves Blue's Clues, but not the ones with Joe. Only the ones with Steve. Adam says that whenever Joe comes on screen, she stops watching until he goes away, and that when she watches the episodes with Steve, she gleefully gurbles back at him. Is that cute, or what? And she doesn't like that "Face" thing on Nick Jr. Neither do I. It's annoying. And again, it's late, and she's sleeping, and I want to go hug her and wake her up and play for hours. But I won't, because it's past my bedtime and we have to go to church in the morning, which means I will not get my late morning nap. peh.
