byfirstlight's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Smile pretty, and please don't puke. So I've been trying to get Isabella's pictures taken for about 4 weeks now. So far it hasn't happened. Every time I plan it, something goes wrong. She either barfs all over her little outfit or decides to be horridly cranky. And I'm not about to drop $50 on pictures of her screaming and with spitup on her collar. Nope. Not happening. If I want those, I can take them at home. For free. So, I'm going to try again tomorrow. I'm going to be smart this time. I'm going to wait until we're there before I put the outfit on her. And I'm going to do my darndest to ensure that she's in a good mood when we get there. And hopefully (*crosses fingers*), all will go well. Because I want some professional pictures of her!! There are two oufits I want to put her in. One outfit is 23 years old! It was mine when I was a baby. It's so cute. It's a minty green filmy kind of dress. It's one of those horribly frilly princessy dresses. My mom had my pictures taken in it, and also my little sister. The dress is in remarkably good shape for as old as it is. But then, it was only worn twice in that timespan. So it should still look good. I want to have Isabella's picture taken wearing it, and then I want to have a copy made of the picture of me, and then put them both in one of those double frames for comparison. I think that would be pretty neat. The other outfit isn't particularly anything special, except it looks good on her. It's a sweet little jean jumper with turquoise and silver flowers embroidered on it. So, yeah. I just lost my train of thought. It's almost 1:30 in the morning, and I need to get to bed.
