Her thrush, which was gone, has returned, even though she's still taking the medicine. And... SHE'S CUTTING TEETH! TEETH! AT LESS THAN TWO MONTHS OLD! My angel is miserable. And so am I. I feel terrible. Just terrible. Why do bad things have to happen in threes, anyway? And shouldn't helpless babies be exempt?! I'm excited at the though that she will have little "toofies" as my mom always called them, but I hate it that it hurts her so much. She drools and drools and drools, and gums on anything that comes near her face. She doesn't have the coordination necessary to hold anything herself, so we have to hold her and keep the little teething rings in her mouth for her to chew. And the orajel. It works, but only for a bit. And I'm really ticked about this Thrush. I sterilize the things she touches so I don't know how it is coming back. I do know this much. I'm going to take Mia's advice and try the Gentian Violet. I'm assuming they sell it at healthfood stores. If not, I'll buy it online. That Nystatin is pure crap, that's for sure. Oh, and pictures! I bought the cutest little outfit, and I was all set to have her pictures taken today. But not with a white spotty tongue, that's for sure. As for the constipation, I guess we're going to have to use little suppository things, unless someone else has a better suggestion.
